Peer Support Groups

Connecting individuals through shared experience and guided peer support.

I have partnered with Dr. Tony Issenmann, LMFT, to found The Peer Collaborative — a space rooted in belonging, shared experience, and thoughtful, guided connection.

Our mission is to create spaces where people feel less alone. Through facilitated peer groups built around shared experiences, we help individuals and families make sense of their challenges, learn from one another, and move forward with confidence, compassion, and renewed strength.

Current offerings include peer groups for:

  • Teens who have been in treatment and are navigating life after programs. Learn more here

  • Parents of adopted children seeking connection, understanding, and support. Learn more here

We’re also actively working to expand and add additional groups as the community grows.

What these groups offer (at a glance):

  • Belonging: Feeling understood and anchored in community builds steadiness and resilience.

  • Shared insight: Stories shared with others on similar paths become sources of clarity, strength, and hope.

  • Guided support: Skilled facilitation provides structure, care, and forward movement.

These are facilitated peer spaces — not therapy — designed to help people feel less alone and more supported as they move forward.
